- "Fifty Years of a Religion With No Creed"-- I've long been intrigued by the Unitarian Universalist church, and I was happy to catch some of this segment on Interfaith Voices, a show I like to listen to here and there, believe it or not. - "Austrian Man Wins Right To Wear Pasta Strainer In License Photo"-- Speaking of religions, this story from The Two-Way, NPR's news blog, is just plain awesome.
- "Will Christopher Robin Ever Grow Up?"-- Interesting take on the new Winnie the Pooh movie on the Monkey See blog.
- "Mrs. Mallard Celebrates 70 Years Of Safer Streets"-- If you ever take a trip to Boston with young children, the Public Garden is a MUST visit spot. A toddler JAM and I posed for a photo with Mrs. Mallard years ago, and this All Things Considered story made me smile.
- "A Cheat Sheet For The Casual Harry Potter Fan"-- This Weekend Edition Saturday story is also great for anyone with a poor memory who wants to get caught up before viewing HP7.2!
- "Doctors To Pregnant Women: Wait At Least 39 Weeks"-- Okay, we may try our best not to be judgmental, but I have to admit that I scoffed big time when I heard this All Things Considered story and a few of the quoted mothers talking about the reasons they scheduled medically unnecessary c-sections.
